From the NY / NJ Area

• Take 684 North to 84 East (approx. 30 miles)
• Take 84 East for approximately 35 miles to Waterbury, CT
• Take exit 20 on the left to merge onto CT-8 North toward Torrington
• Take Route 8 to the end of the expressway at Winsted.
• Turn Right onto Route 8/44 for ½ mile to traffic light.
• Turn Right onto Route 8 North traveling beyond Otis to Intersection with Route 20 East
• Bear Right, east on Route 20 for 5 miles to intersection with Route 8 North (Bonnie Riggs Corner)
• Turn left onto Route 8 North
• Camp Watitoh is 3 ½ miles on your left

From the Taconic State Parkway

• Take Taconic State Parkway to the last exit for Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) East.
• Follow directions below starting at #2.

From NY Thruway

• Take exit 21A for the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) East
• Take exit 2 for Lee, MA, US-20 East
• Turn left onto US-20 East and take for approximately 12 miles until the intersection with Route 8 North (Bonnie Riggs Corner) – See optional short cut below.
• Turn left onto Route 8 North
• Camp Watitoh is 3 ½ miles on your left

Short Cut from Lee over the “Mountain Road”

• Take exit 21A for the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) East
• Take exit 2 for Lee, MA, US-20 East
• Turn left onto US-20 East and take for approximately 4 miles
• Turn onto Becket Road (which becomes Tyrne Road)
• After approximately 2 miles, turn slight left onto Yokum Pond Road, which merges with County Road
• At stop sign turn right onto McNerney Road
• Make a quick right onto Route 8 South
• Camp Watitoh will be on your right in a little over a mile
