Chrissy Spark is entering her 14th summer at Watitoh and her 11th as Girls Head Counselor. She currently lives in Bournemouth, Dorset, in the South of England but originates from Durham in the North. During the off season, she is a Special Education teacher for children with special needs, specifically working with kids with autism and behavioral and emotional issues. Chrissy began her Watitoh career as a swim and canoe instructor and later became the Waterfront Director.
As Girls Head Counselor, Chrissy spends her days caring for the girls of Camp Watitoh and making sure that both the campers and counselors are having a meaningful experience. She is most passionate and committed to each of the camper’s personal development and helping to foster lasting relationships. Chrissy cannot imagine not being at Watitoh during the summer months, “living the dream” with all of the amazing people!
